BL Technology, Inc. held a ground breaking ceremony Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 1730 S. Cherry, Tomball, TX, the location of what will be a new corporate office and manufacturing facility for the growing company. The new facility will be designed and built specifically for control system fabrication with a UL 508A and hazardous location certified shop. The new building design includes state of the art design, production, and testing facilities. Welcoming remarks were made to BL Technology by Bruce E. Hillegeist, President of the Greater Tomball Chamber of Commerce, and Betty Reinbeck, Executive Director of the Tomball Economic Development Corporation. President of BL Technology, Deborah Lee, and Vice President, Bob Lee Sr., also spoke briefly of the vision for the new facility. Participants in the ground breaking included Greater Tomball Chamber of Commerce, Tomball Economic Development Corporation, SLI Design, Wells Fargo and BL Technology Inc employees. The estimated time of completion for the new facility is December. BL Technology Inc was established in 1974 and is a certified woman owned company specializing in instrumentation and control systems, homeland security and fire alarm systems.
